One wonders at the rapid stripping of the church, religion that is going on. It is being systematically destroyed, I wonder if it is not simply because of the removal of the general sense of the presence of God, by the LORD.

Institutional anti-biblical churches with hierarchical leadership with Diotrephes preeminence characteristics, contrasting the biblical house gatherings where Christ is preeminent and functioning spiritual body life of every member and the manifestation of the spirit is given to every man. Leadership is by the gifting of the man, as under shepherds, in a plurality setting. Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastor, teacher perfects the saints, do the work of ministry, and edify the body. Relational gatherings of family members of Christ’s body functioning according to the effectual working in the measure of every part makes increase of the body unto the edifying of its self. Eph.4:16 .

You can do nothing: said the Lord to me while caught in the surf after my Coast Guard Service. I was a very strong swimmer, and God made sure he broke that in me… I was in my mid 20’s then, he wants humble servants and people who will depend on him, and him alone!

This kind of thing runs against our carnal natures, as it is spiritual in nature. This is a hard lesson to be learned, and we must be broken and humbled in heart, before we will seek the Lord.

Matthew 24: 32-34

32) Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33) So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34) Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

The Main Line Church has taught this parable started occurring in 1948 when Israel was re”planted”   However, if you ask any farmer, a plant does not blossom, when it is planted. This blossoming occurred when Israel recaptured the Holy City of Jerusalem, in the 1967 war.

Now, you do the math on the last generation…I get that “before 2017” Christ will return, so I “guess” we shall soon see!
