Wrong side of the tracks

Back during the age of steam, if you were down wind of the locomotive smoke, it was considered the wrong side of the tracks. Nowadays it is a neighborhood which is poor, and goes largely unsupported by money.

Such a neighborhood I used to fellowship in, with one of the Godliest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The man was also a genius and the most well-read man I have ever known, specifically when it came to Bible understanding.

Dr. Gross was rarely accepted by who he used to call the “middle class church system” or the “Ivy League”, in which I was born into, yet rejected by for having substandard learning abilities now commonly called dyslexia. I thank the Lord he has decided to use to simple things of the world to confound the wisdom of the wise, as the ones who are to show his glory by contrast, to the ones who are established in the world by natural means.

Pastor Gross (as I called him) was not your everyday Churchman, but rather a man of God who was converted out of occult science. He later became one of the two top exorcist in Baltimore City, MD. The other was a Police Officer in the 1970’s.

His “Christian” name was (the late) Dr. Michael W. Gross D.D. ThD. PhD. Also having 23 years in seminary, and once the presiding president of a Bible College.

I am writing this testimonial today to this man, who was always a defender of the faith, and a defender of me as well. He used to tell me if ANYONE had a doubt about my walk with the Lord, (or in understanding how he functions) send them to him for some straightening out!

Well, that never happened, but the man was certainly devoted to anyone whom he had instructed. Yet for me, (not being an academic) it took me 20 years after studying under Dr. Gross to finally receive my reformed minister’s accreditation, for the work I had performed under his tutoring by the (old style) Baptist.

This did me little good it seems, as nowadays I have discovered that the only ones willing to be admonished, are the ones who truly have a humble heart in the Lord. Most are like a bunch of Pharisees who will not take instructions by principled men of God, whom hold a proper understanding of the scriptures coupled with an understanding in how the Lord functions spiritually.

Many, many, even devoutly men of God either refuse to see, or cannot see their own shortfalls! This is why the proper assembling of the body of Christ is so needed.  I see this problem as an ongoing one (especially in an age of strong delusions) as men (and women) can become “heady” and not open to reproof nor correction. When Jesus spoke there was no questioning of his authority as he was the perfection of God incarnate, yet many only wished to kill him.

The problem arises when mere men try to emulate Christ within fallen humanity. I believe that this is why humility is so very important, rather than being a “know it all” which is based in pride rather than love, and is the very sin which Satan was most guilty of in causing his fall.

I try to be most selective in whom I reveal the deeper levels of my soul with, including (the things of God) as it is important in protecting one’s heart. In contrast I have also discovered that the ones you may fellowship with may indeed turn against you, simply because of their perceptions, or even twisted truths (lies) which are provided by Satan to the unsuspecting brother or sister within any given fellowship; this does happen if not extremely careful, in not confusing their theology with spiritual realities, and deceptions.

This is why a proper balance of the scriptures must be not only understood, but indeed practiced. Any “Cult” (if you will allow me to use that word) is normally based on some knowledge of the scriptures, but the twist comes when not applying them appropriately. Dr. Gross taught me that “Hebrew style witchcraft” was based upon this concept of using the scriptures; yet purposely twisted for the purpose of securing powerful demons for power, in furthering their careers of dirty works in moving up. This is exactly opposite in how a believer in Christ is supposed to function. This is an extreme example of why proper Bible knowledge is needed when teaching scriptures, and sound doctrines of the faith. I am not a Bible teacher per say, yet I have enough Bible knowledge and experience in the Lord in recognizing when someone has gone off track.

Two things happen when one is emotionally invested in people who misread the scriptures or oneself. Either you are deeply wounded by being shunned (like in the Amish community as an example) or you are elated for a time in being accepted by the gathering.

A Bible example of this is mentioned in: 2 Timothy 4:1-4

4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom. 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

This is a prime example of why it is so important to understand good doctrines. If not, you run the risk of deceiving those around you who are more vulnerable to misguided teachings. It is my personal belief that the “time has come” when even the best meaning among us can exemplify our misunderstanding of the scriptures, and customized dogmas in deceiving many.

This seems to be a “sign of the times” in an age of strong delusions, and even the elect would (could) be deceived – if it were not for the Holy Spirit himself reproving and correcting us on a personal level.

This is why many churches only stick to the orthodoxy of what they call Bible believing churches, and seem to have an aversion to Pentecostal and Charismatic type teachings. Not because it is a “bad thing” but because so few people understand the proper functioning of the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit).

Understanding the “spirit world” is complex and complicated, (if not impossible) to the natural mind, and it takes years of experience of the Lord (by the Holy Spirit) to teach a man to walk in a manner which is in accordance with the scriptures, and edifying to the sheep.

The problem is that “natural man” can teach scriptures to nearly everyone; the wheat and the tares alike. So many simply “sign up for Jesus” with the hopes of fire insurance, yet whom the Lord has never done a work within! These are false brethren, and even the same type false brethren who threatened the life of the Apostle Paul. Within the leadership, we must do the best we can to discern 1 John 4 so that we can tell who is of the Lord, and who is not. However, it is the Lord who will ultimately separate the weeds from the wheat in the world, and the world’s church. If we go trying to do the separation ourselves, we may injure and even destroy part of the wheat!

I will simply say that I have learned this lesson the hard way, by being uprooted by those who see themselves as spiritual authorities, but have not the authority, (as the Father alone does) and who attempt to try to rip and tear amongst the tangled roots, thus hurting those who are grounded in Christ. So let us be careful not to make rash judgments towards others by what we may merely perceive to be truth.

Little Things

This morning, before my mind was clogged by the things of the day, my Lord reminded me what a lieutenant once said to me while in the Coast Guard. He said “the Coast Guard wasn’t his God” at a time that we both were facing a reduction in force.

That stayed with me through the years, as it resonated so much for me. I was 18 years into being an Army Reserve Technician, (across from the U.S. Coast Guard Yard) and I really didn’t want to obligate myself to military service beyond my 20 years, yet the rules had changed and all technicians were being forced to stay in till they be 60 years of age – or forfeit their job as a technician. I had told my wife, “the Army doesn’t own me, only one person owns me, and that is Jesus Christ” while pointing up to heaven!

I have never liked the world or humanity dictating to me the direction my life should play, especially when the contract is changed mid-stream to one’s original obligation to service. To me, this is enslavement to the world, the world taking on God ship to another’s life.

Don’t get me wrong, military obligation should always be honored, especially in a time of war, and many have paid the ultimate price. Nor am I one to shirk my obligation or loyalty to my brothers in arms who may be asked to shed their own blood for the sake of others!

In fact, I forced the Army to amend my orders as to NOT be removed from the current unit which I was serving with, as they were being mobilized in support of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. Although I could have avoided this mobilization, due to administrative sloppiness and sloth. So, I insisted on remaining, and I was then cut orders under Operation Enduring Freedom, and sent on my way just like the rest of the troops I was serving with the last few years.

What is interesting however, is that a little more than a year after returning home, and the second day back in my old watercraft unit, is when I had my career ending heart attack in water survival training! By the calendar, this was my 20 years of service, which I had been grumbling about within my service career the years before! I was not expected to survive the night, and like I have posted before, I had Jesus shoulder to shoulder with me when my heart stopped. They medically retired me a couple of years later as my heart would not allow for combat conditions. I remember my Dad saying, “be careful what you wish for, you just might get it”!

I don’t intend to be vindictive in mentioning what I was told recently: “that I had left the Lord for my love of country, more than my love for Christ” and that ” I was being chastened of God”, in given the circumstances concerning my heart… So in, “not taking any chances” with these so-called “prophetic words”, I must admit that tearfully I sought the Lord in the depths of my being, asking why he had graced me so much, and if he felt I had strayed from my love of him, to rather loving the world instead?

The deep reminder I was given this morning concerning the lieutenant’s words to me so many years ago, resonated with me again about “Americanism” being my God, Donald Trump, or all the rest. This type of thinking is not consistent in how the Lord has chosen to do a work within my life, and in fact it is exactly opposite! The grace of God has been tried and tested again in my life, especially when considering this my second trail of dealing with my heart: in removing the infected hardware, was only made possible for success by receiving the world renown surgeon (Dr.Love) who invented this laser surgery, and who said “I was a challenge for him”, while being turned away by other hospitals.

The steps of the righteous are ordained of God, and no matter how well-meaning, mere men can be deceived to what is actually taking place within another’s heart, just like with Job’s “friends” as he was put to the test by Satan.

I am reminded of the old hymnal song Amazing Grace ; ‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved” – and tis grace that will lead me home. So, that’s what the Lord moved to think on  this morning, and revealing my heart towards him. It is He who is Lord of my life, not because I have earned it, but by grace alone, he has moved me in it!

The Staple

 

Having learned sound Bible doctrines have always kept me from falling into disrepair, even by the strongest and most eloquent teachers, who have decided knowingly, or unknowingly to vary from the sound doctrines of the faith.

Some of the Dangers of “Lordship Salvation”, and other beliefs systems.

I may be deceived (in and of myself) for a short time, yet the Holy Spirit within me is never deceived.  He will teach me experientially and practically greater truth:  even with the pitfalls or deceptions of the enemy, specifically  when dealing with other people’s Biblical understanding (which for a season) I may find comfort or even discomfort with, yet in time I am moved to an even greater understanding.

For me, this is not a four brained calculated thing at all, but rather an intuitive one, which later only reinforces my understanding of scriptural doctrines from dogmas. The reason is, it is not of my natural intellect (understanding) that I rely upon, but rather the Spirit of the Lord, “the teacher” whom Jesus promised would reveal all truth.

In other words, it is not simply a doctrinal position which I may hold but rather a reliance upon the Lord himself, just like a small child.

Recently, I have known some brethren who hold to the same passages in the scriptures I also hold to, and claiming to be following the leading’s of only the Holy Spirit; yet our (spiritual) positioning seems to be in direct conflict, even while hurling condemnation at the opposing faction!

I am a retired soldier, and my personality is such that I am used to people shooting arrows at me, but what I cannot abide is disgruntled brethren redirecting their fire upon an innocent person, who may happen to agree with me! I have been told things like “ I don’t do accusations, as that wouldn’t be Godly”: or that “I am the one” who crushes the “tender shoot” ( the young believer) so on and so forth, in customizing the scriptures to fit into their own belief system, thus justifying themselves and excluding those who take issue with them.

That type of behavior is neither spiritual nor scriptural, but is rather manipulative and extremely dangerous, to both those who engage in it, as well as to people that are taught such deceptive reasoning. Imagine those who claim such a superior walk in the Lord Jesus Christ, in attacking those who may agree with me (even if I was wrong in my doctrine) as having left the Lord, or siding with “The Enemy” (Satan)! Do not children stumble and fall? Do not children misunderstand the bigger world which is around them? The answer of course is that children are not held to account like an adult, nor disowned for what they do not understand!

These type of attacks are only valid however, provided I have been guilty of misleading or corrupting them (the tender shoots) in some manner, who are “unspotted and innocent” so to speak in the eyes of God: which I don’t believe I have done in the least. Anyone in leadership who would assert such a position against another, should make darn sure it is by the direction of the Lord, and not on behalf of themselves that they do so; especially if the one they are condemning is seen as blameless by the Lord, in holding such an opposing position! Even David would not attack Saul who was later out to kill him, as he was God’s anointed for a season – even though David was unquestionably in the right and to be the next King, David would not move in attacking Saul.

The late Dr. Gross, (who taught me in street ministry while still in my youth) would tell us “don’t believe anything I tell you, go back to the Lord and check it out yourselves”. This is because anyone with a more convincing manner or intellect or speech, can easily fool the flesh into believing what they wish them to believe! Yet the Lord’s Holy Spirit within his people, will not be deceived by “false teachers” as He is “fool-proof” even though we are not.

I have learned a new level of deception in all this, sound Bible doctrines being used to paint ones position in Christ as righteous, while condemning those who will not be taken-in by such powerful delusions of self and others. This is most tragic (I can’t think of anything worse) as being deceived at this level and deceiving others, yet it appears to me to be most common to those who think themselves above reproach! I had even shared with the elder, that the most powerful forms of witchcraft are those which use the scriptures (as in Hebrew style witchcraft) that I had learned from the late Dr. Gross, who in my opinion was the most transcendent Man of God I have ever met, or probably I will ever know… although he too was fallible within his own understanding.

Having said all these things, I still love these judgmental brothers – not because it is a commandment of Jesus, but rather as it is but a second nature in having Christ within me, that I do so. I have said I will pray for them, and I will as long as I am led to do so within my spirit.

Elders should be able to discern the difference in a brother or sister of the Lord, whereas a younger member of the body of Christ, is still yet unable to do so. This is partly because so few elders exist nowadays who have the understanding of the different mindsets of reputable doctrines, (which we use to communicate in following Christ with others). And Satan uses these doctrinal divides, often destroying the unity of the body. Unfortunately most churches don’t understand the difference between the soul (emotional reasoning), the human spirit, and the Holy Spirit’s place and functions: which causes problems and unneeded divisions amongst the body.

You can do Nothing!

I never thought that being a follower of Jesus Christ that I would ever be quoting Nietzsche…

But I now see this is what happens when we operate in the flesh, under our own steam, especially while applying the letter of the law (and not Christ) to others!

The one who doesn’t think himself guilty of this, merely deceives himself, and like a good lawyer or salesman deceives others around him.

One thing that most human beings are lacking in, is in extending grace to others – like our Lord did for us. I have beaten up on my own ghosts’ for years, believing it was the Lord who was showing me greater truth of why I am who I had become. Armed with the new truth I perceived in dealing with sociopaths, I then dove into others head first to slay who I perceived they were.

Although this was not my nature, I started noticing I tended to morph into those who I have been the victim of. It starts with the ones closest to you, and will move forward, unless you apply the brakes! Those who think that they are above reproach, will never concede to applying the brakes, as the pride of life, and often their own sense of justice, (legalism) only drives them further into a self-righteous fury!

Yet this IS NOT the way of the Lord, who is gentle, forgiving, and full of grace. No, not Mary, but rather our heavenly Father, who has graced us before the foundation of the earth in sending his only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ as our atonement for sin.

Grace, grace, grace, I say, which no man can boast upon! As much as I may wish Jesus be Lord of my life above all else, I am powerless in attempting any type of change within myself! Did you get that? Powerless in orchestrating any type of change, no matter how hard I may want to obtain it!

I have learned some fantastic (Armenian type) Bible passages about choosing to follow the “narrow way” these past dozen years, and that is a good thing in wishing to be firmly rooted in Christ, yet the danger comes in with the wrong type of judging of others hearts occurs, and should the tide turn by others, it may be you who is swept from such a rigid foundation of stone!

The problem is when that rigid stone foundation is confused with being The Rock, who is Only Jesus Christ, or Lord, Savior, and ultimate judge. Whoa be it unto men, who try to walk in those shoes:  for only heretical hypocrisy, apostasy, and perhaps hell awaits them, and at the very best, the judgment of a teacher who taught many in error, or worse as a false prophet.

In my view, only a fool would seek such a spiritual position of authority and responsibility. But I digress, the point is to be humble and unassuming to another’s status which is strictly amongst him, and the Lord God of Israel.

Like the Galatians we must be careful not to fall into our own heretical forms of worship and celebrations, but at the same time we must be diligent to not overstep our own understanding and authority in the judgment of others – especially in being graced so much ourselves!!

Yes we must maintain good order amongst the brethren, but be wise in taking command and control over those whom the Lord has graced.

It is the premise which is flawed!

I understand now that most people who start with Christ will take the broad road away from him, primarily because they don’t have a love for him (or the truth) nearly enough to remain faithful, ( that they might be saved)  and then many more are found pondering just what “type of ground” the seed has fallen upon.

I believe that is a fair question, and one we must all struggle with in being the Lord Jesus Christ disciple. It is irrelevant to me “if they were truly saved to begin with”, or if they have “failed to enter into full sanctification, in being transformed into Christs image”.

Doctrinal Debates based upon the Bible on this issue seem to be questioned by each new generation of believers, and I think that is a good thing! 1 John 4 tells us to test the spirit’s” in knowing who confesses Jesus Christ is Lord (within them) and not just “simple beliefism” they have been taught up and coerced into believing by the power of mere men.

“All that the Father gives to me will come” Jesus said, so  all works of men in the flesh preaching are irrelevant to me.

At this point of the article, I have experienced great division amongst brethren, one feels its by their actions in choosing to follow Christ above all else, (once they have been graced) and that they must be ultimately justified in the faith by choosing the “narrow road” which leads to life everlasting: and yet others feel that it is by grace alone that the Lord is the keeper of their souls, contingent that their hearts are right with the Lord, despite their many shortfalls.

In other word by Grace alone they will start and end with Christ, (which is what I tend to believe given that men are fallible). Yet others may feel that you cannot make excuses for failing to follow Christ.

I think this is a fair assessment of what I’m struggling to express.

Recently I have been accused of loving the world more than my Lord, and when challenging that viewpoint, that I am in rebellion against the Lord. Whereas, I see this as passing the wrong type of judgment, specifically the condemnation and chastening of God part. In broad terms, it is in loving America, and supporting the President. This is seen as divisive and carnal, when the higher prize should always be the kingdom of heaven.

Yet from my perspective, this is a judgment of some people who feel I love Trump, and traditional Americanism, more than Jesus Christ himself! Forgive my crudeness, but I have to throw the bullshit flag on that one! Also these men don’t see they have done anything wrong with such condemnation, as they think themselves spiritual and their thought processes above reproach!

Honestly, I really wish I could be so sure of my walk in the Lord that I had no conviction of ever being in sin within my personal walk. Than to top it off, I am told many don’t like conversing with me because of my sharp tong, and pointed responses. I suspect this has more to do with being called a “Trump Worshiper” or not taking any guff when someone threatens to physically assault me online, as I dared and tried to correct them in a rant. Of course this can all be turned on its head when people try and discard or discredit you, (like the video I recently made) by subverting what you have said and done, into their own contexts, for their own purposes!

Besides all this, I can remember the Lord once told me working in a barge before I was married, that he was going to give me “the gift of the sword, but be careful how I used it or I would cut myself to ribbons”! Perhaps this is the out working of that prophecy to me?

Anyway, what is even stranger to me is how I have now become an “enemy of the Cross” to people I believe are deceived into believing a form of Lordship Salvation, and where I have been forced to break all ties to what “I now see” as a heresy.

This has become so evident now, that I am accused of being chastened of God (for my hardness of heart, I suspect) in having a heart condition in which my immune system has fault off infection to my heart for perhaps 14 years on my implantable defibrillator! To me, this shows the Grace of God to me, especially when given the top surgeon in the world, who took my case on as a challenge! Blessings to this man, who had the hoot spa and expertise in saving my life! Yet, although I am really hurt by the chastening accusation, I am grateful enough that these brethren have at least recognized me in being of the Lord’s workmanship!

I could go on and on showing different scriptures in this area, but I now must take solace, and trust the Lord given my fallibility and for what I cannot see, in being utterly dependent on grace, as there is no good within me, (naturally) and is what I was told of the Lord in Spirit the first time I nearly drowned: “You Can Do Nothing”!!!  And with that, I leave you with these scriptures…

Character Assassins?

This is a secular post predominantly, and it only proves to me that if one rejects the Lord, only Satan’s order is available…

The military used to be known for their legal discrimination in  maintaining a strong and cohesive force. Discrimination used properly is a force multiplier, however bigotry cannot be tolerated as it is corrosive to good order and discipline. So who will judge the just or unjust authority figures?

Merit promotion policies took root during the Johnson Administration, an offshoot of Americas Civil Rights. The social engineers in “the marketplace” started enforcing quotas for blacks and other minority groups, with the theory this would ensure Equal Opportunity, in the otherwise dominated white male workforce.

Somehow this has morphed into “the white man is the oppressor” within progressive academic circles.

Should not a man (or women) be judged on the “content of their character’, as coined by the Civil Rights greatest leader, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.? Everyone I have ever known agrees with this assertion, yet regulating this principle within the “great society” of diverse humanity seems to have predominantly failed.

Character Assassins within a Orwellian type of society, now seems to dominate the landscape instead of the ideals once envisioned. And a state of denial by politicians that regulating (White) society has been ineffective, even with over 50 years of accommodations, and a Black President only seems to have exacerbated the issues, and caused greater pain and resentments for all involved.

I am so distraught that some people who claim to be followers of Christ, would rather camouflage their hatred for Donald Trump in the faith, than to actually become informed to what is actually occurring at the carnal plain – which the Lord God has allowed!

I now contend that if I were miserable with the election results of 2016, I would have remained in the good grace of many who actually equivocate their political views with godliness.

I have now witnessed a type of persecution I had never experienced before, namely being overtaken by politics, when it is my accuser who is obsessed by such notions and without having knowledge of it!

We should actually pray earnestly for such brethren that they may not continue in their deceptions, the very thing which I am accused of!

I have always noticed that people of political ignorance, insist that if one is informed to world events; they are extreme and worldly, if you do not agree with them!

They do what they accuse others of doing, yet they cannot see it, nor will acknowledge it!

This is the point at which politics actually becomes placed before the Lord, yet many are so deluded that they earnestly believe they are following Christ in their point of view.

Nonsense, twisted truths (known as lies) can never be equated to walking in the spirit of truth, and ignorance can never be associated with having light!

*** I for one am tired of being accused of moving in ignorance, when in fact the converse is true!

Pack it in you left-wing nuts, and stop trying to virtue signal to others just how wise in the faith (you think that) you are.

Where as in actuality, you know NOTHING, and you have shown your hand to how deceived and cold, you really have become.

I am really glad that Charlie Daniels at least holds a small platform to speak up to the diseased malcontents which America has always struggled with, there is nothing new under the sun, it is just that humanity has become more divided than ever before as they await for their father the Devil to pull it all together. My advice is to not confuse the god of this world, with the God of the Universe. Thinking you are doing the Lord a favor, by the rooting out and destruction of your brother!

The End of the Age

There are but two camps of people on the earth, the Lord God’s people, and the rest…

Have you ever noticed that progressives think humanity is evolving into a greater life form?

Yet the Lord God’s people realize that we are all degenerating and without hope because of being separated from the Lord God because of sin.

These are the two basic camps which humanity falls into, the lost or elect (who will come to Christ) and the wicked.

Everything else which materializes from people, is a result of their personal spiritual condition to the Lord God. The spiritual world which is unseen affects the physical world all around us.

Nowadays, the camp of the Saints has been overrun, the vast majority of people are unregenerate children of the devil, whom is their Father: and they will rejoice when he shows up posing as God, as everything in them will chime right with his nature (rebellion) which is within him.

The “age of Grace” is almost over, and we are heading at breakneck speed into the age of strong delusion. He that restraineth, has been withdrawn, and the world is headed towards destruction as it rebels against all the remaining precepts of the once “Christian informed” western world, and any and all precepts of its order!

All of the “creation order” to use a general term, is being rebelled upon nowadays. Women are in rebellion of men, children are in rebellion to their parents, and all kinds of deviations wish to replace the traditional family structuring, wishing acceptance and to even dominate, while bringing into question what was once called common decency!

Even what used to be called the sexes (Gender) is being challenged at all levels from school programs to the United Nations. Publications, including those dealing with history are being taken over and subverted by those who do not like their content, or the traditional world view (narrative) which they may put forth in the assessment of society – even how it was once looked upon by the generations who have gone before us.

Individual liberty, such as freedom of expression as entrusted in the first amendment by the Colonists, is seen as antiquated and biased (bigoted) by those in rebellion to it pretense. So than, what replaces the traditional laws which western civilization’s struggled to establish, while living in a brutal and ignorant world so long ago?

To me, there is a simple answer; throw out all precepts of the Lord God and his order, and replace it with lies (twisted truths) given in the hearts of men, by their father the Devil. Which is exactly what is transpiring in most mass-media, and certainly on the internet by all those who would dare to challenge or expose their orchestrated rebellion in building a new world order – devoid of the Lord God!

It is the feet of Iron and Clay, (Multiculturalism) cobbled together by all humanity in rebellion of God, as prophetically written in the book of Daniel, just prior to the destruction of Babylon. But first, the world will cry peace and safety, as Lucifer their Father the Devil is unveiled claiming to be God.

What shall we then do, when we are in the world but not of it? Walk by faith, is the simple answer, stand on the Truth (who is Jesus Christ) the architect of our faith, and pray for those in authority – not to make them the Lord’s as many think, but that it might go well with us.

Trying to force people to live in righteousness, (when the truth is not in them) is a mistake, which only creates greater rebellion and resentment, and only serves to exacerbate the sin nature within them! An example of this is with the many Priests within the Roman Catholic Church, who claim the name of the Lord, but are not actually with him. This exacerbates the sin which is “bottled up” inside of them, and the outworking’s of that sin creates greater depravity than if you had simply left them alone, and not put them under the letter of the law of God, which they cannot keep!

This is partly why the world will turn against the mother who rides the beast, and rejects the precepts of the faith. Nay, I don’t wish to “proselytize” anyone, nor corrupt the actual fellowship of the brethren with false brethren, which is the habit of many.

This is why we have so much turmoil in the world today, in that the Lord God is allowing his providence to play out upon the earth in opposition to his order, and if he did not choose to shorten these days as written in > Matthew 24: 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Real Brethren have these things, the rest think you’re delusional…

In my 40 years after receiving Jesus Christ as my savior from sin, I have experienced only about five “really sensationalistic” experiences in the Lord. The rest of these experiences were of a simple being led by Him in different situations, in showing me different things, yet in all things these experiences mesh into perfect timing, which I had no control over.

I have added some graphics which I made of these experiences, partly because they are already found on the net, yet like the prophets of old, a lot of  “Christians” want them as their own, or see them as emotionalism or even delusional, while the vast bulk of others could care less!

Yet even with being taught the ways of the Lord, (walking in the Spirit) and the ways of the adversary by one of only two top exorcist’s in Baltimore City at the time, has only served to reinforce my understanding that most don’t really want to know HIM, even if they could digest it.

I have contacted many “big name” media preachers in my life, and one was even the personal boss to a family member; yet all but Jack Van Impe ever even bothered to get back in touch with me. Jack had used an eschatology example I had written about Israel blossoming in 1967, not 1948 in a letter: and months later some Anglican Priest was credited with coming up with the idea, which I just happened to be had watching on his broadcast while studying at Kings Point, NY.  He did however send me a long letter back, with a lot of free books!

Anyway, Angels, Devils, and supernatural events, are far more likely to be accepted and viewed by the masses, than the events of a true follower of Jesus Christ. I was always instructed not to talk about spiritual events to an outsider of actual brethren. And I can tell you if you do, you will open yourself up to scorn and ridicule, by those who have not the living experience of Jesus Christ within them, unless of course it befits the systematic theology of which they preach, to bring in others while filling their coffers!

This is why you shouldn’t share the things of God (cast your pearls) at dogs and pigs, as they will turn on you and attempt to devour you!

Even in my near death experience, by expressing openly that the Lord was next to me when my heart stopped, is seen as simply delusional by some who claim to follow Christ. This only shows me that people will believe what they like, and as it is written in Luke 16: 32 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Disbelief is the issue here, and even when Christ was risen from the dead, (which the above verse foreshadows) people would still not believe. This is what I experienced with the “Near Death” community, who claimed to be open minded, only I mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, which buys you rejection, and incidentally was excluded from the book: “I believe in Heaven” by Cecil Murphey & Twila Belk who edited my testimonial, as seen below.

My NDE: An unfortunate A misrepresentation to what actually occurred to me.

 

Working backwards, just after my marriage, my Lord gave me a vision of a “Pastor’s Heart”, as the local church ant-Christ (Pastor) said “he did not see me as a Pastor”, and attempted to destroyed some of the work the Lord has done within me when I was courting my wife, even while having a years’ worth of confirmation by the Lord that, “she was the one” if I chose to be married in his sight. This is partly why the lord gave me the short vision, which was to be confirmed to me the early next morning on the radio broadcast “Truth for Life”, with Alistair Begg. He explained that the word “Pastor” was derived from the word “PASTURE”, and it was only God, who gives a man a “PASTOR’S HEART”!  In simple terms, the Lord was  simply confirming to me that I was in the right place with him, but not the surrogates (Pastors), who claimed his name!

While learning how to “walk in the spirit” while studying in street ministry, I had about three miraculous experiences, one is a sketch I made when the Lord was attempting to get my attention while in a temporarily carnal state, (which certainly worked for me) even though it happened but for an instant, seen in the graphic which I hastily drew below at the time.

 

The last graphic, is of the sword (word of God) going out to the world, a dream I had in the mid 80’s. The late Dr. Gross explained; the sword of God had a gold handle for the Lord to grip, a silver double-edged blade symbolizing redemption, and the old wooden box (wood symbolizing man) was indicative of my body in which the sword was housed in, and that it would go out to the world one day. I use this graphic for the background on my website.

I had a psychologist once tell me, (when sharing some spiritual experiences with him) that “there are many things phycologist just don’t know, and if they ascribe all these things to the mind, they ain’t much of a psychologist”!

Worrying about being in the right place with God…

I’m writing this post today, as I’ve been worrying whether or not, I am in the right place with the Lord recently. I truly believe the following is what He showed me…

Walking in the Spirit of God, is a “most” simple thing to do, if you are actually with Jesus Christ in Spirit and in Truth. It is not a rules and regulation religious thing, but truly spiritual. For lack of a better term, allow me to “reverse engineer my experiences” in drafting some examples. Years ago, when I was on ship at South Street Seaport in New York, we were at anchor and I was sitting on the fan tail. As I sat there my eyes happened to wonder upon a vessel whose line was unraveling from it mooring, I immediately jumped up and shouted a warning to our crew!

To my utter surprise, they asked how did you see that!?  As the crew went over to secure the vessel which was adrift. And I had to consider that I had done nothing in seeing the event, but rather it was just orchestrated in time that I had done so… In other words, it was the Lord who simply fixed my eyes upon the vessel at that moment!

Today was much the same type of event, I was feeling in my pocket what felt like crumpled paper, yet when I retrieved it, the item was a waste bag for a dog: at that very moment my Cocker Spaniel had need for it, and I realized that my heart was not out of sync with the Lord at all, but rather on the perfect wavelength with the Father, and what we used to call in military terms as “remaining in the net” in using radio jargon. It seems to me that I was so over concerned about my loving God above my love for the world – (as loving the world more. would potentially crowd God out of my life) so that I was actually “jamming our frequency” in communication (communion) with Him, with false gilt!

This is a trick of the accuser of the brethren, targeted upon the sensitive heart of one who actually seeks the Lord’s will in his life above all else, in order to discourage. The perceptive fear of falling away from the Lord can be twisted into excessive worrying about being in the right place most of the time.

 

While in contrast the idea that you are locked into Jesus Christ (ahead of time, in being truly elect towards salvation) and then being sealed, without regards’ to your willful disobedience of the Lord coming into question, is yet another heresy which also destroys the believers walk. This is often called the “once saved always saved doctrine or belief system” that allows exclusion of the Spiritual relationships health (Sanctification) which has been started amongst the believer.

Both belief systems function independent of the Lord God’s leadings in our lives, and are potentially destructive as they rely upon the letter of the law (written word) rather than dependency upon the Lord, who is only followed in spirit and in truth.

Yet in my understanding, I had forgotten about a simple mental bridge which had helped me in the past, and that is;  if I  desire something which was greater than my desire for the Lord, I would become immediately convicted of it.

It also seems to me that being overzealous for the Lord by the flesh, often isolates and retards the simple spiritual “abiding in the vine”, which was helped along by the well meaning opinion of others who shared with me; and then taken by me at face value, without checking with my Lord.

Or, in other words, ( I unknowingly) took it to mean, that  by works of my flesh this was accomplished, and I frustrated myself, by simply trying “too hard” to hear my Lord, (even when he wasn’t speaking to me at that specific moment) and furthermore, this was not done while “walking in faith” upon the Lord!

This is also what can happen when we compare ourselves to others, (spiritually speaking) a most unwise practice, which at the very least leads to discouragement by the tender shoot.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding, and he will lead you into all righteousness, it’s as simple as that!

The world is turning to sludge

I am an old school American, born under 48 States in the union. My family is church people (the conservative Bible believing type, not liberals) and the moral principles of the proper family unit were stressed.

I went into the military in 1980, women were still new to being accepted in the services in the Academies. I think this was only right, being that the male was to be the provider and defender of his family. Sexual tensions were the result of this mixing, and I was on one of the first ships to try such debauchery with their temptations and newly formed power struggles of the sexes.

Women do have a place in the services in building up the strength, but are a deficit when taxing the men even further, in there so-called move towards equality.

These are a couple of bullet points to a much more compromising picture to so-called human rights.

Destruction of the unborn while still in the womb, was a real dive from the moral cliff of decency, and can only be compared to the eugenics used by the NAZI’s in an attempt to get rid of the unwanted.

The women’s movement, is known to have its roots in the annals of Marxist doctrines, in an attempt to tear down the structuring of the family, and society in general. Also at that time Homosexuality was being pushed by Hollywood and other decadent forces for acceptance into the main stream.

The American Civil Rights movement was in full swing, and had corrected many evils of injustice, yet it came with its own new sets of new problems, and creating a greater resentment towards the white male in particularly.

I had never discriminated against another because of their race, religion, or ethnic background, yet I sure experienced it as early as my 20’s working two hours prior to me piers showing up, and two hours after they left, in making the same pay. They happened to be black, but it was the white supervisors who initiated (off the record) this new work ethic. I never complained, I was happy to have the job, however I did point my bosses hypocrisy, and with the threat of termination, I never said another word.

Of course, (and I really believe it) this has allot to do with being the Lord’s and suffering rejection from the world and it’s establishments, even as the Jews were seen as lesser by the Egyptians, and only to be  used as slaves.

On a personal level, I have never had a problem in working with another, until resentment has been interjected by an outside political influence. This is the problem people are experiencing today.

At a basil level the absolute authority is the Lord God, yet nowadays everything is targeted at undermining this idea because of the rebellious nature within most people. Evolution for instance, is a direct assault of even the concept of there being a God, with “humankind” improving and developing into a higher life form. Whereas, the Bible clearly teaches that none is without sin, and except for Grace of God in Christ, all will degenerate to the lowest form of human depravity!

And this is exactly what is taking place today, filth is equivocated with righteousness’ as we spiral further and further away from the truth! It is the “Feet of Iron and Clay” found in the book of Daniel, the mixing together of all things (and Peoples) in rebellion towards God. Yet most people nowadays cannot see that their desires are worse than the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, as they use humanistic sciences to justify sinfulness, and scoff at righteousness – even wishing to overthrow it, and by extension the Lord God of Israel! As a result of most of humanity being children of the Devil, they will rejoice when he shows up claiming to be God, while performing many false miracles, while posing as God. Even Bible believing churches, who do not actually know Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth, will fall victims of Satan crying peace and safety thinking their savior has arrived. Yet soon afterwards, the Lord will destroy all this wickedness, and the world cannot hide (and wishing the rocks will fall on them) prior to His thousand-year reign upon the earth.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 (KJV) 5) But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

After all this being said, the real question should be, are you with the Lord, or are you not, as this will determine your destination through eternity!

Wheat and Weeds

Being sowed into the world as actual Wheat, it never occurred to me for a moment, the rest of the “Christians” were sowed into the world as Darnel’s, a weed which so closely resembles the Wheat, that it is only their (spiritual) seed which gives them away!

I have discovered exactly what Jesus was speaking about concerning the sower and the seeds, only a remnant are actually good fertile ground, producing a good root system and then their fruit. I had a very close brother whose fruit sprang up quickly, and who everyone recognized as moving in the Lord! It was marvelous those first few decades in knowing him, yet later in life as things got tougher for him in the testing of his heart, and the concerns of the world, he seemed to wither and die on the vine. In this passage Jesus is speaking about the effects the ground has on the same good seed which fell upon the ground. The type ground one is, produces sometimes nothing, (as in the hard ground) or perhaps the plant springs up quickly as in the shallow ground then it dies, or the rocky ground although it produced life, the hardship of life was too much for it. And then of course the “good ground” which produces a good plant with deep roots, and lots of fruit!

Yet the ground parable is speaking about the elect of God, and what the “Word of God” (Rhema – ῥῆμα in Greek) inside the selective types produce. And yes, these are the ones who actually started with Christ, yet the path becomes unnavigable for all but the last type ground!

Whereas the Wheat and the Weeds, (Darnels) parable is speaking about the world and the elect of God towards salvation. Yet even more pointedly, these “Darnels’ are sowed into to same field (gathering) by Satan, in an attempt to choke out the wheat and kill the good crop, having had corrupted it!

Of course when Jesus returns the great sort out will begin in earnest! *** Matthew 7:22-23 > [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

This will probably occur during the thousand-year reign of Christ upon the earth, but even if it occurs during judgment phase, it is but academic in nature. The doctrine of once saved always saved (TULIP) is slightly flawed in the latter allegory, whereas the Armenian Doctrine is flawed in its early teaching that “anyone may come” and tends to use fear and legalism to keeps its tenants. Whereas what I am attempting to explain is closer to the whole truth in being “saved from sin”, unto new life by actually experiencing it, just not being taught about it!

The great point which I am attempting to make is; unless you actually have life found only in Jesus Christ, and walk in it, you will go through life constantly confused by those who claim to teach in His Holy Name. I will go as far as saying that over 90% of the so-called ministers I have met preach another Gospel, than simply Christ Crucified, whom is in but a select few of the population! The rest is “a load of old church” who have never seen him nor known him, and really don’t want to!

This is one of the reasons it is written Luke 10: 21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

In other word, this is not intellectually digested doctrines, but Spirit, and those who don’t have him are plumb out of luck! I write this as I have always been lumped in with the rest of the so-called believer’s, and being told there is no difference between me and them! That is a lie straight from the pit of hell, meant to discourage and distract me, and it wasn’t till the Lord started to work in my life in a powerful way, that I recognized the difference, and driven home by my near death experience, having Christ shoulder to shoulder next to me!

Now to be fair, most can’t help it, as they were sown into the world as weeds, and the Lord God has never done a work of Salivation within. And yes, it is only by grace we are saved, but we must learn to discern who our brothers and sisters actually are, and NOT SHARE only what we as family possess, namely the workings of Jesus Christ within us. We are only to share the Gospel with outsiders, lest they come into the fellowship and confuse and destroy the workings of the Holy Spirit, whom only works within His own, by the grace of God.

In closing, I would like to add that recently I’ve experienced jealousy within many brethren, (myself included) not because of spite, but because of a great need, a hunger, which me and others have experienced for so long in finding a “Man of God” who has been actually equipped by our Lord to feed so many hungry sheep! This is almost instinctual spiritually in seeking greater insight, and that time is very precious to an actual child of God, especially in the days wear so few actually exist, now!

It is the Lord who has shown me my jealous rage to be fed properly, yet it may take some time for others to recognize the same problem amongst themselves in being fed while in fellowship with an elder. Yea, we all have the same need, yet it is only the most mature who can recognize his problem within another, and wait quietly.

This has been a brutal generation to grow up amongst, and most of the men and women of God, are with the Lord now, and only few remain in actual faith. This is why it is written:      Luke 18:8 > I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
