I normally do not reference allot of Bible verses when expressing myself, as I am not an academic, but rather a simple follower of Christ my Lord. I don’t go around referencing the scriptures in an attempt to justify myself before men. But in this post, I have decided to make an exception, not because I will change any one’s heart; but so the actual brethren might be encouraged. The Bible, which is written to the Children of God who know the light; (Christ) is normally written concerning spiritual things, it is written to edify the actual brethren, so is not just metaphorical or physical, with the exception of talking about God’s order within the world. Most recently, Satan has tried yet another one, of his “religious tactics” to confuse and divert the “would be” followers of Jesus, into darkness, using the scriptural texts. Satan is much more crafty and relevant to deceiving Christian than most would think, or that most would even choose to acknowledge. He is smarter than any PHD in the entire world, and uses his intellectual superiority to tell lies, and twists the truths of God, “which are only revealed to the mind in spirit and in truth”, and not in someone’s “doctrinal filing cabinet, within the natural understand”. So in contrast, particularly in the “Western world”, the Devil has had allot of practice deceiving the natural thought process, into molding it the way he chooses. These tactics will always appear counter intuitive ( you will know it is wrong) as it registers with the actual disciple. The reason is that intuition, is a function of the human spirit, and if the human spirit (which was cut off from God as a result of the fall) is being regenerated by the Holy Spirit; then the “spirit of lies” triggers an unconscious response, which is repelling to the Holy Spirit within the actual disciple. A young believer may not consciously be aware, of what is taking place spiritually within them, yet they will register being uncomfortable, to some degree, the one with the “Spirit of an ant-Christ” who will always oppose those, who are of “the right spirit” called the “Spirit of Truth”, or “Christ in you” . False brethren feel, and actually hate the Holy Spirit within another, rather than love him, like a disciple does! This is what Jesus is talking about, when he speaks about suffering his name’s sake. And you don’t have to say anything normally, just your presence will make an enemy of the cross uncomfortable, and most often they will try to justify themselves to you; even though you haven’t even opened your mouth. The earlier prophets suffered much the same rejection, even among their own people, as men hide from the light, because they are children of darkness. I learned while studying occult sciences for a short season, (while serving in street ministry) that the most powerful type of witchcraft, is “Hebrew Style” witchcraft, as it uses the scriptural texts (Twisted of Course); to gain power over other forms of Sorcery. Why? Because the closer one is to the “truth of God”, without actually following him; the closer they are to subverting spiritual powers, which are meant to destroy God’s people, order, and his will. This scriptural warfare is sort of like “military intelligence on a spiritual level”, is the best way I can frame it to others. This is the same reason that using the Bible, independent of the Holy Spirit, is so dangerous to the actual disciple. Yet another mistake commonly made, is to mistake emotionalism, with the outpourings of the Holy Spirit… But that is for another topic. Most “Christians” people, who have actually met Jesus Christ through new birth, have struggled and fought with the world, to learn how to move in his spirit – (the Holy Spirit) who is “Christ himself”. They have had to fight harder in the faith than they would have normally had to; if they had actual men of God leading them, in positions of leadership. I am not talking about “Church men” or even “Bible experts”, but rather “an actual Spiritual Elder” in the Lord. Today these types of “Spiritual Men” are extremely rare, and if you could find one, keep it to yourself; lest other false brethren try to muscle in, and overtake the fellowship of the actual sheep for power and position. This has been the case since 50AD, and enemies of the cross, anti-Christs and other type wolves in a variety of flavors, are wall to wall today, because the natural man, has attempted to take control of God’s work; in using the Bible, Bible Colleges, Churches, (institutions) systematic theology. If you are here to try and “sharp shoot my Bible knowledge”; please “make like a tree, and leave”… I have experienced years of this type of opposition from broad roaders, and nominal Christians, who practice attacking others using the scriptures. They love to cite their knowledge of Bible facts: to build themselves up, and destroy other weaker brothers or sisters.

What is an enemy of the Cross..?
First off, an enemy of the Cross of Jesus Christ cannot be proved by theology or doctrines, even if taken from the Bible, and taught to the natural mind.
The Bible is written to, and for the disciple of Jesus Christ, as they follow him in spirit and in truth. If one has not been born again of Spirit; they cannot hear, nor walk in the Holy Spirit of God, through the atonement of Jesus Christ, who was Crucified (put to death) and raised to newness of life, for those who would believe “on” him by faith.
Doctrines, theology, intellectual beliefs, and religious traditions or practices, have NOTHING to do with receiving, and walking with Jesus Christ “in Spirit and in Truth”. As it is God who is the engineer of all circumstances, and it is God who chooses just who he will call, and start a work in by grace. The real question then becomes, will you follow; or will you attempt to operate in independence of the cross, and the Holy Spirit? Jesus taught that most would take the latter.
Institutionalized Christianity takes on a form of Godliness; but does not possess the power, or the spirit of the Lord, Jesus Christ! Salvation unto God, is a work that God does alone, with those who would humble themselves in their “whole being” (Spirit, Soul, and Body) to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ (continually), and will not move in independence of the crucifixion of their old man, by the Holy Spirit’s workings: so as to be found IN CHRIST upon their physical deaths.
This death of the old man, engineered of God, is dependent upon two basic principles.
- Confession and repentance of the need for Salvation by God, found only in Christ, who stood our execution(s) on the cross; because of the separation from God, because of sin within the creation.
- Following Jesus in Spirit and in Truth, only found by abiding in his death and resurrection – unto life; concerning our “old man” who is trapped in sin, and without hope except that he be transformed into the image of Christ; by way of being crucified in Christ, and then being found in his resurrection, on the day of redemption!
These two examples are why the Apostle Paul was constantly burning the ears of the early brethren, in his letters; and feared for them often. The Apostle John, continually warned his “early followers of Christ”, to be on the lookout for false brethren, “who started with them”, yet became diverted from the truth, and (coined as) “anti-Christ’s”, or false teachers to the actual brethren.
At this point, many may be wondering just why I have chosen to use two principles, rather than just one. The reason is actually very simple; it is because this is how the Holy Spirit of God functions, concerning the transformation of the child of God, unto Life.
So why is all this confusion within the Ecclesia, you may wonder? Well, that is quite simple too; Satan and his demons are at work, tripping up, and trying to destroy the actual brethren; is the answer. Satan always will produce a look alike, to the things of God. He is the deceiver, the father of lies, and the butcher of the brethren! Every time that God does a work in “his people”, Satan is busy counterfeiting those “spiritual” workings of God, to confuse and deceive. Many people will acknowledge that the Saints are in a spiritual war, as it is scriptural, yet only a few, (a remnant) will enter into this battle in actuality when spiritually made alive in Christ; and have grown into a spiritual man.
Everything which I write about is from my personal experience in Jesus Christ. It has taken my Lord about 40 years, to lead me into a greater understanding of his ways. The primary reason for this is because of false brethren, the ones who refuse to be conformed to his image; and be found in his resurrection -they are the enemies of the Cross! By those who Claim His Name; but will not actually follow Jesus in spirit and in truth.
I have had 40 years of Bible training, I have been taught different theologies, history, and dogmas within various denominations. Yet all will fall short of the truth, if they are of a “different spirit”, than the actual disciple. True men of God are extremely rare today, and experienced Elders, are even rarer! Many Bible based, Churchmen, and women exist today who claim to be the Lord’s, yet they will not submit to the Lord; nor even Biblical teachings, in the age of delusion.
The biggest obstacle which I am experiencing nowadays, are people who have a form of Godliness, but not the power (authority) thereof. These Christians come in various shapes and sizes, in their religious practices. Some even have made movements outside the traditional church institutions and systematic theologies, into a more Bible based atmosphere; such as meeting in the homes. Yet even this, does not ensure a person is born again of the spirit; nor is following Christ, in spirit and in truth.
From such, turn away; is the only answer! You cannot mix, or compromise with the Holy Spirit of God; despite how much you may wish to be accepted, or find a comfortable place in the world to lay your head. You must push into the Kingdom of God, within you; and you cannot hold back for anyone, or anything! This is why Jesus told his disciples that he did NOT come to bring peace but a sword! He promised division, and not unity with the world and his wife! He said, unless a man “hates” (a strong dispreference for) his, mother, father, wife, children, even his own life that he “cannot” (emphatic) be his disciple! He came to set mother in law against sister in law, and so forth. The word hate here is used in the contexts of one who “hates” say, cabbage, or fish for dinner; rather than loving cabbage or fish for dinner.
It is a matter of what you love, that Jesus was drawing attention to. Jesus taught to love your enemy as yourself; not just out of human sentiment or pity; but because this type of “spiritual compassion” is a natural attribute of the Holy Spirit, whom the disciple must learn to follow. This fruit of the spirit will be manifested by Christ in us naturally, even when concerning the sinner; within our INDIVIDUAL callings with the Lord. It is not a license to “love the world, people of the world”, or be set up as a doctrine, for the love of the world.
God’s love of the people of the world was the ACTION of sending his only begotten son; to stay the believer’s execution upon the cross, so that they might be ABLE to become, the sons and daughters of God. This really has nothing to do with behavior modification, (like Christendom teaches) but rather is the result of putting one’s sinful flesh to death in Christ, so the outworks of God will be genuine, and not fabricated by false brethren , so prevalent within the church today. Doctrine debating is only useful to non-believers and enemies of the cross; it will not edify the child of God into moving into the right place with God. People who engage in such activities, are either carnal in their understanding, or they do not walk with Christ in spirit, as they have never been born again.
The result is 3 types of Christians; the disciples, the broad roaders, or the unregenerate Christian informed heathen.
I would venture to say that most, if not all, different points of views; on the sinfulness of man, even at birth, and the regeneration of him towards salvation in this life which were written outside the Biblical texts, are tainted by sin to some degree. The result of this is nearly true, or vehemently opposed to the Cross of Christ in totality.
In other word’s; if teachings are not directly inspired by the Holy Spirit, in the past, or today, some error will exist, which will trip up many, and ultimately leads to destruction. This is known as the “spirit of error”, and the only way to avoid it is to walk in, nothing less than the Holy Spirit of God, who teaches all truth. The believer also must have, real spirit filled elders, (not just theologians) coming aside the actual child of God, and who will not permit the unsaved, or the spirit of error, in the fellowship.
Good luck finding a body of believers like that today under your own efforts; only God can lead you to those who have an understanding, and are called to such a ministry; but the world loves to compromise with the truth of God as found in the scriptures, and have those who will tickle their ears, by feel good natural understanding. As a result of such poor understanding about spiritual truth, and enemies of the cross; Jesus said, “and few that it will be who enter” into the kingdom of heaven. But, always remember, this is God’s work to do, with those who will listen, so you are never alone!
The Real Prince of Persia, (Demons straight from the pit?)
Where I am led to believe we are, as found and supported by the scriptural texts of the Bible. People have forgotten this is a spiritually discerned book, it is not meant to be studied as just another texts book; as it was written to the actual follower of “The Spirit of Truth” who is sent to give light to the actual brethren. The problem is, (as you will see in this graphic) most people are of the wrong spirit of error, which competes for the hearts of men. Daniel, Revelation and a couple other texts are used with Clarence Larkin’s drawing, in support of just where I think we are today in Bible Prophecy, and within the history of humanity.
The Prince of Persia, in the Biblical Book of Daniel; is Spiritually Describing Demons from the Middle East region, towards the end of days; or what I consider being, Islamic Terror, in our present times. They come to us straight from the pit, and only the Lord God himself will be able to deal with them! The only thing I can say is to resist the Devil, and he will flee from you Christian
Isn’t it interesting how Satan takes the God-honoring nations of the world and accuses them of being evil? Case in point; the Islamic world calls the United States, “The Great Satan” whereas for over a hundred years the U.S., has been used of God to stop such Evil as the holocaust, and ethnic cleansings, even while helping to protect Muslim populations. I am not saying that the U.S., nor any other land region on earth, are God’s people today; only that the Accuser, The Father of Lies, The Man of Sin, That Wicket, is actively and continually attempting to tear down any trace, of Christian informed cultures.
The Only place on earth that is physically important to God; is Jerusalem as HE has chosen to set his name there, and no other. For HIS NAME SAKE, he will not let Jerusalem be overcome, and by extension Israel. We who are found IN Christ; (the new covenant) today, are indeed Israel Spiritually to God, and no other found independent of the atonement are. This is NOT popular to point out, simply because it is the “offense of the Cross” which natural man hates, and wants no part of.
Below is a link to “The real Prince of Persia” Published by THE CHRISTIAN POST, it but touches on what DANIEL 9-10 speaks about; but only on a “feel good surface level” for evangelism’s sake, in my opinion.
More to the point, however: Daniel, I personally believe is describing what is happening today with Islamic Terrorism; not just in the middle east, but around the globe, and this has a far reaching effect on what the world is experiencing today! And not just watered down Biblical insights, and movie opinions,

This image depicts a dream I had while in street ministry. The SWORD is the word of God. The blade is silver, symbolizing redemption in Christ. It is double edged and verry sharp, cutting to the bone; (Holy Spirit). The handle is Gold, which God grips. The box is old wood, symbolizing my earthly body (man). This is why Jesus was a carpenter, and the “WORD” goes out unto the world.
The spirit of anti-Christ transforms itself!

John 4:35 Say not, There are yet four months, and then comes harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
1900 years ago John penned these words; it was the begging of the church age with few workers’ for Christ. The Spirit of anti Christ had already come, trying to divert the brethren off course, in simply abiding in Christ by grace.
The new Church “establishment” set up in an Old Testament style hierarchy, again diverted brethren from moving and functioning in the spirit of truth who is Christ. Elders (Pastors) and men holding the God given office, gifting and authority, were often quickly made subservient to another Gospel; in having men as their heads, instead of the spiritually mature men edifying believers in, and towards Christ.
I now believe that the one’s called by name (the ecclesia) in the tail end of the “church age”; are being deceived by those who claim to be in the Bible based Church. When in truth, this is merely a transformation or retread, of yet another spirit of anti Christ, in using the Bible doctrinally while twisting truth; which is only revealed by abiding in Christ and revealed by the spirit of truth.
Another Bible passage that is often misquoted is found in Matthew 28:18-20 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
This passage Jesus Christ was commissioning as “officers” the 11 disciples, to go and preach his gospel. They were called chosen and sent in obedience to Christ himself, and empowered to perform such a task by the Holy Spirit. We as Christians today, specifically when involved in ministry, which is to be used to edify the body of believers, must know when we are sent by the Lord, and when we are simply operating in the flesh. Anything else simply strikes God from the equation, and remains fruitless.
Satan always tries to usurp God’s authority, by placing men (women) as spiritual heads, and they once again attempt to be in command and control over others, in religious zeal, pride, and intellect. Satan who is the Father of lies goes about deceiving many as they forget that Satan knows his Bible better than any mortal man.
Mathew 24:24 & Mark 13:22 For false Christ’s and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
So when we study the scriptures, or fellowship with others, (1 John 4) we must discern by spirit, what is sound doctrine, in contexts to our understanding, only as revealed by the Holy Spirit. We are never to act, move or follow independent of Jesus Christ within us.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

CHEAP BELIEVISM
This post is a commentary I’ve decided to write, as a small example of how we are living in the age of delusion.
I have chosen my desktop Bible verse software; out of many examples in the marketplace of supposed ministries, to focus on the “free” desktop version provided from Vladimir Rybant Ministries (a Russian) as I look at it every day.
This may not be deliberate, yet it is disturbing to me, here is an example of the glitch… >Hebrews 11:06 for he that cometh to God must believe that he is… “Well, Even Satan believes that God is”… Here is the passage in its totality:
Hebrews 11:06 (KJV) 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
This is the Asbury Bible Commentary on the same verse referencing the Gospel of John:
God Is Righteous—Fellowship as Doing Righteousness (2:29-4:6)
In 2:29 John declares his thesis; the subsequent verses serve as an exposition of its implications. A new metaphor is introduced here in the words born of him. It is not new, however, to the Johannine world of thought, since it is a major motif in Jesus’ conversation with Nicodemus (Jn 3). Here it appears to be used primarily to introduce the concept of sonship since the following passages emphasize the necessity of children bearing the family likeness. This is a truth that runs throughout Scripture. God’s people are to manifest his character in their daily lives; here that character is defined as righteousness.
Is it just that this version takes up too much data to put in it’s totality, or is it something more sinister? I don’t know, yet it makes the scriptural texts completely useless, for the brother or sister who seeks a deeper truth, as represented in this passage of the Bible. I am not trying to single out anyone, nor any ministry work, but be advised, deception and delusion apart from a love of the truth that you might be saved, seems to be everywhere, and in every sect of the religion today; this is not just doctrinal battling on a natural level, but in fact is spiritual or supernatural in nature! Just like 2 Thessalonians 2, said would happen.
These passages in their totality, are all speaking about having a “love for the truth”; who is Christ, made manifest to his people. This point is not made noticeable in my desktop version, and castrates the verse into “CHEAP BELIEVISM”. Since there is a major online Christian site, (which I used to do articles for) who seems to challenging the idea, that CHEAP BELIEVISM is somehow uprooting the Sovereignty of God; sadly I must take the time to defend my words and position from these academics.
So, I am not dismissing the doctrine that true conversion and sanctification is of God, and God alone – yet what I am saying is that YOU must have a love for the truth that you might be saved, and enter into the Kingdom, now before you die. I am well aware of what the 5 points of Calvinism teach, and for the most part this is entirely sound doctrine. However, the scripture must be read in contexts, and its totality, and not be read dismissively, or (cherry picking) just because someone reads what they don’t want to see… A DISCIPLE MUST ENTER IN THE NARROW WAY, IN “FOLLOWING” CHRIST!
I would even take this concept one step further; and that is to say, that if you have “no love for the truth”, you will not receive it, and you will be given over by God, to what you love more than the truth; who is Christ Jesus! Jesus said to ABIDE IN HIM, and are likened to the Virgins and their lamps, who are the Bride of Christ! This is serious, serious business, and modern scribes and Pharisees of today have watered down the truth, to keep themselves in a comfortable position within the world’s religious communities… In my humble opinion, this is what systematized Church and theology, has become today, as men love their positions and status in the world (love not the world, Jesus said), more than serving the Lord in totality, with all their heart and being. So, why does such venom exist today within systematic theologies? The answer is Pride; and because the (Carnal) or Natural Man hates; and wars, with those who are spiritual; and of the Lord. It has always been this way since Christ and the Apostles walked on earth, and prior to that, the prophets were always rejected! The truth of God has always been found in the minority of the brethren, out of all those who claim to be the Lord’s disciples.
So, how deceptive is this war to the actual brethren? Matthew 24: 24 for there shall arise false Christ’s, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Or Mark 13:22 for false Christ’s and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. NOTICE: the texts reads if it were possible, even the elect would be deceived, as salvation is a work God starts alone, independent of men. And it is because of Christ, the elect have the CHANCE to become the Sons and Daughters of God. The Apostle Paul himself said, that he had to strive to enter, lest he be a castaway (meaning disqualified) from the finish. Paul’s words, not mine. He also spoke of being an enemy of the cross, and about false brethren sneaking in. The Apostle John spoke about those who started with Christ, but took the broad road, and became anti- Christ’s. These people are like “wall to wall carpet today”, simply because they will not walk in the truth, who is Jesus Christ in Spirit and Truth!
I suggest prayerfully reading, 2 Thessalonians 2: 10-12 as an example –
2 Thessalonians 2:10 and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
