Be advised that Twisting Scripture is the most powerful form of Witchcraft! There are those who seek the Lord experientially first, and then use the scriptures to support their viewpoints, and this can be very deceptive. It is better to understand the Bible first, so that we can be fed and grow into maturity in our understanding. It is also good to have Elders in the Lord who may be able to share something close to what younger brethren experience.
Whenever I have experienced a move of the Lord; (when not looking for it) I have always found the same things mentioned within scripture, sometimes years later.

Who are the people trying to deceive if possible, even the elect?
Who are the ones who seek to “deceive the many?” We read many times in the scriptures of false Christ’s,
deceitful workers, false prophets, false brethren, deceivers, wolves, false shepherds,
false teachers, etc.
How can we recognize them? What distinguishes them as such? For sure, we know
that there are many of them. Jesus tells us so. He not only tells us so, but He also
identifies them for us!
In Matthew 7:22, Jesus says that “MANY will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord, Was it
not in Your name that we prophesy, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your
name do many wonderful works?
Then I will say to them, I never knew you. Depart from Me, workers of iniquity.”
Jesus singles out their marks as to who these MANY people are:
1) they will/or have prophesied (taught the Bible; preached sermons) in His name
2) drove out many demons in His name
3) have done many wonderful works in His name
Also, something similar in Matthew 24:5: “For MANY shall be coming in My name,
saying, I am the Christ and shall be deceiving MANY.”

I’m by no means a professional writer, in fact I grew up with severe dyslexia having trouble in school, but one thing I have learned is that the Lord has always been with me!
I had returned from Ft. Bragg under my volunteer orders for Operation Enduring Freedom (2003-2004). I had hoped to gain promotion as a Platoon Sergeant (E-7) and Stevedore from that of a harder MOS as a Marine Engineer, which I worked in daily as a dual status technician on Army Watercraft. This was not to be, and I didn’t like the idea of being subservient to a soldier who made little effort when it came down to tending to her troops, once missing my promotion when returning home. So, I went back into the watercraft unit in which I worked full time for, as I figured it was allot nicer than going to the desert as a truck driver, which the Army pushed me to train for after leading a truck platoon on active duty. Yet I worried about returning to the grueling task of once again attempting to get my next level engineering license, taking months in school – a large amount of which I already knew, as I had spent time at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy; but the Army TC had refused our much needed course materials! I had struggled with engineering academics since my time in the Coast Guard, yet felt gifted in my practical knowledge in some of which a Warrant Officer that was the head of maintenance, had tried to get me awarded earlier in my career.
On February 6th, 2005, was now off leave and had joined my old unit for their annual water survival training at Ft. Meade, Md. I think I had donned a floatation suite for the training which was a bit small for me that day, and even though the NCO’s weren’t required to do so, I thought it only appropriate to partake in the full level of training since my absence and return. At noon on that day, I finally removed the neoprene suit, only to experience what I thought was severe heartburn and ask to lie down for just a few moments from my Commander. Immediately CW4 Gunport called 911, and the paramedics my brother had worked with showed up on seen, and none to soon, as just when they had hooked me up, my heart completely stopped, and I sank into a void of darkness!
I suppose this was the “first stage” of death, but as I lay on my back in that void of darkness and loneliness, I immediately felt the presence of a man pressing (R) shoulder to shoulder against me! As I looked over I could make out a ghostly figure of a man in a robe, shoulder length hair and a beard! It was Jesus Christ, and there was no place I could go in which I was separated from him, alleluia! Without Christ, it would have been the loneliest experience which I had ever experienced! As the Paramedics defibrillated my heart, it was as if a manhole cover was slid open from above me, I could see the men working on me as I seemed to emerge from the abyss!

Later as they continued to defibrillate my heart enroot to the hospital, I can remember wishing I could see where I was, yet no windows were in the ambulance. All the sudden, I was looking down upon my own ambulance in perfect clarity of mind and vision! I prayed hard to the Lord not to take me yet, as I worried about my wife, and having not completed my earthly mission in my ascension. The Lord answered my prayer, and the next thing I can remember was in being loaded into the medivac helicopter for air lift before passing out!
A Footnote: I had worked around helicopters before and had hoped I would finally get a flight which I could remember; but I guess I’m just being silly. Also, it was three days after my Ordination credentials were received, and it was a big hit for the men at work – as they roared with laughter! This was also near to my twenty years of military service too.
When I arrived at Washington Hospital Center for emergency stenting, I woke up ever so briefly to see my wife in the ICU unit beside me, and I told her to hide in the corner. I didn’t wake up again until three days later. I was not expected to survive the night I learned later, and the staff discovered Elaine, forcing her to leave the ICU.
As I finally awoke the first thing, I saw was my Mother and Father at the foot of my bed watching me, and I’m sure with plenty of prayers. My Brother the PA at the Naval Hospital sat beside me. My twin sister flew in from Texas and her son, later my friends, Sergeant Majors and Army Officers came in to visit. Later after two weeks my stent started to clog up again in my proximal LAD, and they rushed me down to the operating room again. The Wife and I were sure this was it this time, when a nurse spoke to me calmly and exclaimed to me “Mr. Dell, the Enemy knows who you are, but this will not affect the things which the Lord has planned for you!” …. I was stunned as I had never seen this nurse before, yet she had repeated back to me a private prayer I had prayed weeks before about being like Paul, Silos, and Jesus!
Within a day after I awoke, I received a phone call that said I was no longer insured under TRICARE, as I had been off active duty for more than a year! That started a long campaign with me and other service members in securing military medical treatment for not only line of duty injuries and sickness like myself but including combat wounded reservists as well! I can remember the late Astronaut Chuck Brady, telling me that Abraham Lincoln would have turned over in his grave if he had known veterans didn’t receive the care they had earned! With the help of the late Senator John McCain, my case along with many others, went all the way up to the Pentagon and TRICARE Reserve select was later passed into law.
This was an election year, and soon afterwards my Military Medical Board started feeling the pressure in completing my case file, which had grown to the size of a phone book! The poor NCO who decided to work my case (when others wouldn’t) got reprimanded from the command responsible for handling my case. It was tragic; the poor Soldier who made it as easy as he could on us, got in trouble for the technicality of not having us present everyday of administrative turmoil! But as they say shit rolls downhill, and the poor man got relieved from a very hard position and job!
Three weeks later after returning to Church, the sermon was on the Good Shepherd lying down with the lamb; it was as if the Holy Spirit dumped over me like a bucket of water, and I then knew in faith that the Good Shepherd was lying down with me the day my heart stopped!
13 years later my hearts hardware to my implantable defibrillator had grown “vegetation” or infection right into the chamber of my heart. It was a major emergency which only my device nurse became alarmed about when pointing out a pink spot right below the “can” located at the top of my left chest. Immediately Elaine and I rushed to the hospital again in Baltimore, in not having enough time to even pack our belongings! The University of Maryland made test after tests, and scans after scan while debating back and forth what they should do, or in my case, not do! If that wasn’t grueling enough, I developed an allergic reaction to the strong antibiotic fluid being pumped into me. I had developed “Red Man’s” on every square inch of my body, which felt like rolling around in a field full of mosquitoes!
Elaine stayed with me many nights, but I could not help but groan being so uncomfortable. I had also left a fellowship which had accused me of being “Chastened of God” for following politics too much (a love for the world, as they saw it). Let me tell you, the last thing one needs to hear in such misery is a bunch of self-righteous Job’s Comforters during such a trail of life!
I would like to interject at this point, that my devise nurse also was in a church much like this and had to leave, and her political views were not really on par with mine, yet we were good friends for the love of Christ in our lives; and she ended up doing medical missionary work overseas, and told me the supplies always managed to reach her on time! We must be careful in how we view others walks in the Lord!
It was strange this time around in the hospital in fearing for my life, the only experience I had was in the catherization lab, they had put on some canned music and half dazed the song started playing “Knock, knock ,knocking on heavens door, by Bob Dylan – a man who once denounced his faith in Christ. The staff then scrambled to turn it off, as tears started running down my face. I was a one-time cowboy shooter at the range at that time!
At the end of that week, I was encouraged by a doctor with a thick German accent to arrange surgery at Johns Hopkins, with the man who invented laser surgery to the heart, Dr Love. The morning I was slated to leave (so that I wouldn’t have to be on suppression therapy the rest of my life), I saw a familiar sight outside my window, it was the small company truck my dad was with, and I worked for also making a delivery to the Hospital! To me, that was just the medicine which I needed to lift my spirit up!
Many times, within our lives it is the little personal things which our Lord knows about us, and not the grandiose spectacular things which the world sees as important! Knowing Jesus Christ is one of the most personal things we can experience, and that’s why we shouldn’t cast our little pearls before swine who will turn and render us with them! Often, people don’t want to see or hear these testimonials of hope, as they love the darkness, rather than the light, a testament to the fall of mankind from grace.
One thing which I have learned in growing in my faith, is that one’s experiences may go from spectacular to diminished, but it does not mean the Lord has left us, (or we have left the Lord) rather like a child the Father needn’t to have to hold us as close, as we grow into spiritual maturity.
I could write much, much, more about what I have learned of the Lord, myself, and others – but I could never stop in my testimonials. Yet the Principle of this letter is that we must live by faith, and in doing so we come to a deeper understanding of just how faithful the Lord is to us, if we simply take the time to rest and reflect upon him.
It has been 15 years since my career ending heart attack in the U.S. Army, but Praise God I have more time to write about Him now!
As, Christ will never leave us nor forsake us! A dear brother I knew once told me NOT to follow a “prescriptive religion” about Christ, but rather Christ himself. Absolutely correct, yet we must be aware that oftentimes our perceptions of who Christ is to us, and the workings of the Holy Spirit within us, are understood in the light of scripture, instead of just our “perceptions” as we grow.

Like little children, we are powerless, handicapped and disabled to enter in with Christ within our human (or natural) abilities.
Rather, we are totally dependent in faith on the love grace and mercy of our heavenly Father, who provided his Son Jesus in our behalves!
Without Salvation by Grace alone in what Christ has done, we are powerless to enter into the kingdom of heaven by simple childlike faith. This is why many will be gathered up and cast into the fire to be burnt, as they had not believed upon the only name which we might be saved; Jesus Christ.

You have heard it said that “one man’s cult is another man’s religion”… This is only true to the natural mind; however, the Bible teaches in Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Our relationship with the Lord is key, as in Psalm 37:4 “Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart”. This is not “necessarily” speaking about fleshly desires of the heart, rather it is speaking about being shown the infinite mercy, love, and truth in being grounded in the Lord, and sometimes in receiving what we desire.
This is a spiritual condition which only the Lord can show us, (often in doctrines) and is not found in the futility of our natural understanding.

Proper understanding of the Holy Spirit’s attributes; is the critical part of being able to “discern the spirits” accurately. Without understanding the Holy Spirits attributes correctly – as given to us within scriptures, we have handicapped our discernment.
Jesus said: The greatest of all the Commandments is to love God first, then others as yourself. This is the first step in discerning the Holy Spirit from false teachings about the Holy Spirit. This first commandment covers a multitude of other commandments, to include the proper discernment when dealing with others.
I struggle to make this point in my video, we must have a balanced understanding of who the Lord is, and how the Holy Spirit functions. If we are ignorant of this proper relationship between men and God, we are at a much greater risk of being deceived by a “silver tongued Devil” which deceives many!
Below I have pasted some verses in helping others understanding with the identifying attributes of the Holy Spirit.

I know this isn’t the “King James Version” of the texts; as I purposely chose this “Amplified Version” in showing if we have been sealed by the Holy Spirit in Christ, neither “Him Nor I” am going anywhere without Him! This is the value of being redeemed in Christ’s blood, and NOTHING can separate us from His Love!
Respectfully, Armenian doctrines (falling short or walking away from the Lord) is based in fear as a motivator, as they have not grown to understand the completeness of God’s perfect love for us, nor the “completed” atoning work of Christ on the cross. Jesus said “it is finished”, and he meant that, for all eternity!
We shouldn’t walk in fear, but by faith in what our Lord has accomplished by grace in our behalves!

In this video, I’m attempting to contrast the “Fruits of the Holy Spirit” with our natural tendencies, in missing key factors when making proper judgments concerning others. We must be careful we haven’t overlooked our own fallibility when identifying the Holy Spirit within others.

Believers are commanded of God, to love Him and to love others as ourselves; as disciples in promoting the Gospel. Jesus Christ crucified and resurrected for our redemption from sin.
The Bible does not say that we should add to – nor take from the basic tenants of the faith, but to simply move forward by faith in what Christ has accomplished in our behalves. You know what’s really disturbing to me, I was once accepted on this YouTube channel, when my viewpoints of the Lord working in my life was from an Armenian viewpoint. I gained allot of followers who were very supportive of me and quick to hear what I had to say!
Many had said that I had more experiences of God than anyone they had known… But now, many look at me as an Apostate, although a very large portion of the body of Christ confirms my theological position on salvation!
It seems to me that many are unwilling to be moved in their beliefs about the Lord’s workings, as it does not fit into one “particular” framework of theology!
I have said before that you cannot put God in a theological box, as he won’t be able to show you anything more within your Christian life, and I am not speaking about going outside of Biblical texts!
It is simply tragic to me that there are so many who will not be moved from a dogmatic positioning as disciples – who should be willing to learn (more) from actual brethren even if they may disagree with some viewpoints “scripturally” from others.
A balance in one’s understanding is greatly needed in using the Bible for reproof and correction concerning other believers. An Arminian viewpoint is fine if that is where one’s convictions lie. Also, a Reformed viewpoint of the scriptures falls well inside of these two different viewpoints scripturally.
Yet many problems arise when we take our personal convictions and overstep what the scriptures teach (or don’t teach) within the confines of our understanding. So, do we condemn our brother for seeking out the Lord in greater sanctification? Of course we wouldn’t, at least not knowingly!
But if we take our personal convictions to an extreme (known as dogma) this greatly reduces our ability to see beyond ourselves and love our brother as we love ourselves; one of the most relevant teachings of Jesus.
Perfect love casts out fear (God’s love). So, to me, fear is the greatest single dividing factor within the body of Christ! The greatest fear being walking away from the Lord as an apostate! This fear, is why the extreme religious viewpoint of Lordship Salvation is so destructive within the body of believers!
It drives a demonic wedge between brethren in creating judgmentalism, legalism, and even hatred of others, be they actual believers, family, friends as well as foe.
This is exactly contrary to the principles we are COMMANDED by Jesus to follow as believers! Religious pride like the Pharisees of old is what this type of thinking produces! And there can be NO room for it as a follower of Christ.
I have even heard my words twisted in this regard, in saying that it is human Pride and Rebellion to NOT follow Christ within the confines of such a rigid legalism as that of Lordship Salvation!
Like I said, Armenian conviction is fine, provided it does not condemn other brethren who may not see their walk with the Lord in the same way. And Reformed (Calvinist) convictions are also fine, as long as we don’t pe-judge others away from the cross of Christ. Even a “Cal-menian” viewpoint is not outside a Biblical viewpoint when applying the scriptures, so we must be careful to discern between our own convictions and sound doctrine.
I do believe that Universalism is unscriptural, if simply for the fact that the lake of fire cannot be ignored in sound Biblical teaching. However, we should never condemn an individual to hell for lacking balance within their natural understanding. With that being said; neither should we allow any distorted view to be “taught” outside the realm of “so called orthodoxy”.
The bottom line is; Jesus Christ (the God-Man) the Son of the living God, was crucified dead and buried, ascended to the bows of the earth, and resurrected on the third day for the remission of sins.
That is the Gospel, and weather real (as given by the Holy Spirit) – or fabricated within the hearts of men, only God knows, and will judge the book of life.
THERE IS NO CONFUSION IN CHRIST!
Allot of people get very upset if you challenge their faith, (and I do too) but what is more important is the truth which is only found in the person of Jesus Christ. I have always gone to Jesus to teach me greater truths, and unlike theology; what Christ shows us stays with you always!
In this video I attempt to explain the difference in man showing you something, and the Lord showing you! It will always be scriptural; but true understanding is always spiritual; thus tying together other parts of the scriptures and creating greater understanding!

The Saint’s White Raiment only obtained in Christ: is unspotted by works of our flesh.
In my estimation, we only have two choices in how to walk “in Christ” ; we either realize our utter dependency on “Christ’s work alone” within our lives, or we attempt and apply a type of legalism in achieving a superior walk toward perfection, while “using” the Holy Spirit’s assistance.
To the natural understanding within our souls, this may look to be a good option. Yet I firmly believe, this is like taking something blemished and stained of the flesh, and attaching it to an unblemished and unstained article yet expecting it to remain pure.
No place which I’m aware of in the Bible speaks of taking a filthy rag and then laundering it with an unstained garment.

Perhaps I should have called this “Getting a Grip” in my understanding …
Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Perfection in Christ? (Texted)
I have walked with the Lord for over 45 years and have had multiple exposures to different Biblical viewpoints. In all this time I have never met anyone who fully and completely comprehends God’s working of salvation for God’s elect.
However, I have met many who in their own conceits think that they understand the fulness of the scriptures; and even worse are some who think that they have become so sanctified – as to no longer make errors in judgment! The ladder types are the most conceited, proud, and arrogant of all type heretics, that they become dangerous to many!
In my view, the Apostle Paul understood and expressed better than anyone the revelation of Jesus Christ and the Gospel. Yet the Lord gave him a “thorn in the flesh” (weakness) which tormented him and kept him dependent on the grace of God alone by faith!
I’m thinking to myself recently; that anyone who espouses a near perfect walk with the Lord; could not possibly even know Him, or perhaps at the very least has blinded themselves in prideful delusions within their relationship to the Lord. The mark of a mature follower of Christ, I have discovered is only found in human humility and love towards others, and not found in judgmentalism when using the scriptures!!!
I will not belabor this point, but I do encourage people to use Paul as an example of not being “puffed up” in his own understanding!
Unfortunately, many people have misunderstood the scriptures throughout the centuries; yet there is a VAST difference between the Old Testament and the New. Revelation explains about those who are justified by faith.(Rev. 2:7) “To him who overcomes, to him I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God”. {Rev. 3:5) “He that overcomes “by the blood of Christ” is much different than “the wicket” in {Rev.22:19} who “purposely teach false doctrines”, and it is “they” who will pay the ultimate price!

Missionary Evangelist Robert Breaker asks if Jesus could come in 2020, while he gives clues from the Bible itself as to when the rapture might be.
Although I am versed in the 70 AD scripture concerning the “666” Antichrist, which undoubtedly occurred: I don’t believe this negates other texts in the scriptures, such as 2 Thessalonians 2:3-10 or Revelation 17: 1-18.
One of the reasons I believe this is that the term “Antichrist” as used in multiple scriptures shows that an Antichrist can be anyone who denies the power of the risen Lord. Whereas, The “Man of Sin”, “That Wicked”, “The son of Perdition”, “The Beast” could be speaking about more than (an) Antichrist (which we have plenty of even today) when this term was originally coined by John, in – 1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
So yes “Antichrist” was already in the world at the sacking of Rome and the Temple. Yet it is still plausible that: The one who is filled with the “spirit of anti-Christ” is no different than say the Pope of Rome, or any other Minister who would detract from the Lord Jesus Christ – as the only mediator between God and Man. This alone signifies (an) Antichrist; yet I tend to believe that: The “Man of Sin”, “That Wicked”, “The son of Perdition”, “The Beast” are titles to an entirely more powerful being: namely Satan himself!
If this be the case (and I don’t know if it is) we would be likely to see Satan appear as a world leader prior to the return of Christ. Could it possibly be that the term ant-Christ is being confused with the identity of Satan himself? I think it plausible!

I’m simply jotting some thoughts down today about this subject, primarily to share with others what they need to understand about less then honorable motivations often used, (yet not often realized) by allot of people which would rather have you follow them, than the Holy Spirit of the Lord.
Today I am 61 years of age; and one thing I have learned over the years through experience is that even well-meaning people will often use the Lord and the Bible to win people over to a particular type of thinking and actions. Years ago, the late Pastor Gross, D.D. Th.D. PhD (in psychology) would always tell us that never to believe anything he said, without having the Lord confirm it to you first!
He also said to NEVER put God in a “Box” (a belief system about the Lord) as, he would never be able to show you anything! Outside of foundational Bible truths of our faith, we must learn not be swayed by other’s viewpoints which may stray outside of the Biblical texts.
It is fine to learn how to walk in the Holy Spirit by faith alone, and it is even a good thing to understand the cunningness of our enemy Satan, his demons, and his tricks. One important thing to know about the enemy, is that he normally attacks the mind and emotions first, and then the rest of the body only after he is unsuccessful (for the believer). Put on the full armor of God Ephesians 6 10 24 and also remember, the Lord will not give you more than you are able to “stand”, so this normally never becomes a problem for one who is attempting to live by faith in Jesus Christ! Praise God!
Our understanding of the Bible in balance, both in teachings and contexts is very important so as not to become deceived by the enemy; even an ignorant but well meaning soul when espousing bad Bible doctrines may unwittingly fall into this trap. The Lord is well able to protect his people from heresies taught in the scriptures within the providence of our lives; yet it may take some time for our Lord to weed out false doctrines in our lives, even for the most committed believer.
Rather, it is mush better to be instructed in the faith, just who Christ is to us, and how he functions with his Disciples indwelt by his Holy Spirit.
A proper understanding of the Lord in accordance with the scriptures, is the first step in living a healthy spiritual life devoid of what I will call “superstitions”. Remember, Satan simply attacks the emotions and intellect first, so we must learn to “cast down imagination” to a more rational understanding of the God of the Bible. We must never allow our fears to cripple our balanced understanding of the scriptures and our Lord. In my opinion, this is critical to our understanding so that we don’t go off thinking everything we don’t understand or feel within our lives is demonic: as in most cases it simply is not, rather it is a result of poor understanding, and our emotionally charged thought life.
Often times people who are unbalanced in their understanding of the Bible have distorted to various degrees it’s contexts. It almost goes without saying that, this is how most “Cult” leaders (perhaps unwittingly) deceive others!
I for one have learned this the hard ways to various degrees, and is why the late Dr. Gross always told us to check out what he taught us with the Lord, and not to believe it on face value alone. The reason he said, was that anyone who was more convincing then himself, could lead you down a path that was deceptive. I think that is very sound advice, and it has served me well throughout my Christian life.
It is only natural for most people to have a love for themselves first, and then others. This is why we must not get prone to following men. I have met very well-meaning people who love to share with others their faith in Jesus Christ; and that is a wonderful attribute! Yet one of the principles for an Elder in the Bible is to run their own household well! This is very important for several reasons, but foremost is how they are in dealing with other people, besides themselves. The wisdom is in these texts: Titus 1:6-9 & 1 Timothy 3:1-7.
I have put Titus 1:6-9 first, as it focuses on not being self-willed, loving his wife, and faithful children. Verse 9 speaks about; knowing sound doctrine, as it is (properly) taught, encourage others and being able to refute (Bible) error by those who would oppose it.
1 Timothy 3:1-7 says much the same thing, but Titus 1:6-9 has fewer words; and I will emphasize verse 6, as it talks about not being filled with pride, and a good testimony with others so he won’t be disgraced or snared by Satan.
Those are some very tough standards for an Elder, yet all of them are present for very good reasons, not the least of which is our testimonial to Christ. We have all seen charlatans preach on T.V. a distorted and self-aggrandizing Gospel, which takes on a kind of carnival (Carnal) atmosphere. Most mature believers find this repulsive, and yet oftentimes these selfish preachers love taking pot shots at other ministers, even some who are sound in the faith because of their own pre-conceived beliefs; yet if they are unfounded by scripture it may be just a matter of different opinions.
We see this throughout the scriptures as well, and is why we must be careful that we build up the body of Christ (in love for God) – rather than simply propping up our own beliefs in the flesh. The best answer for not overstepping ourselves, is in accountability not only to the Lord, but to others brethren in humility, rather than a self-righteous pride which many may struggle with, even unknowingly.
How can I write these, things you may ask? That’s very simple to answer, I have done it myself!
If we truly love others more than ourselves, we must understand that we all struggle with similar “conditions of the soul” and be willing to make allowances for others shortfalls, with this we can grow and be of even more help to the Lord as well as edifying our own walks.
I am not speaking about allowing sinfulness in a fellowship at all; rather I am simply addressing that we do not become dogmatic in our Bible doctrines to the point that it destroys others!

Matthew 24:7 – Nation in this text is translated ETHOS in the Greek and is where we get the term Ethnic (group) from.
So, the Biblical text would read – For “Ethos” shall rise against “Ethos” and Kingdom against Kingdom and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
I learned this in Bible school in the 80’s, however although this is a correct interpretation of scripture; I have now discovered a “broadening of the word” which although correct, sort of loses its impact when used in this verse to a more pluralistic meaning, rather then simply speaking about ethnic groups:
Ethos (/ˈiːθɒs/ or US: /ˈiːθoʊs/) is a Greek word meaning “character” that is used to describe the guiding beliefs or ideals that characterize a community, nation, or ideology.
In rhetoric, ethos is one of the three artistic proofs (pistis, πίστις) or modes of persuasion …
So what I see happening here is very interesting; if I use the term “Ethos” like written in Matthew 24:7 (in its current usage) it becomes hard to make the point that the Bible is speaking about ethnic uprisings, as it could be argued that I have simply produced a type of rhetoric or perhaps overlooked a greater truth!?
Additionally it is interesting that the “Spirit of the age” (we are now in) disallows any “intellectual proof” of understanding “the word” in such a verse… Are you tracking, or am I overthinking the contexts of this text?
2 Corinthians 4:4
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Also, we have verses like: 1 Cor. 2:12, Ephesians 2:2, James 4:4
To me, it is simply more proof of the “Spirit of the age”, which I see as strong delusions!
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
It seems to me that less and less “spiritual truth” is registering to upcoming generations, and I have to wonder if its our education systems or God orchestrated blindness?
It is very important to understand one’s Bible as it is the basis of who God is, who fallen man is, and the provision given to all who would put their faith in Christ. Nowadays we have allot of spotty Bible understanding, presented via YouTube and other social media platforms. So, it is more important then ever before to have at least a solid foundaitional understanding of the Gospel; namely Jesus Christ, in relationship to the Heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit, sinful humanity, and the Salvation Process. * In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. I would suggest instead of watching the rantings and ravings of many YouTube preachers, that you visit many other “Foundational Truths” which are ministered to us by men of the past. Who deeply understood our Lord, and their Bible.

JESUS SAID, “I” AM THE WAY, “I” AM THE GATE, WHICH LEADS TO EVERLASTING LIFE…
The Bible does not say that some “Jester’s” teachings or influence about the Narrow Way or Gate leads to everlasting life! No, it is by having a humble and contrite heart towards the Lord himself in faith by which we enter; and not “once removed” doctrines about the broad road or even the narrow road – as it is Christ Himself by which we are Saved “by Grace” for the day of redemption, and it is He alone we must learn to follow.

Armenians, Calvinists, Trinitarians, Universalists, Pre-Millennialism, Post- Millennial, Ob-Mil, Dispensationalism, and so on are viewpoints in the scriptures which have been argued for millenniums. However, for the believer it is imperative they develop their personal relationship in Christ, so that a greater understanding of the scriptures is understood. This is not just about doctrinal positioning of the natural mind, but rather a greater understanding of how we are being molded into the image of Christ. In this video I use a couple of examples of the Lord’s faithfulness, and how he has always gone before me in showing me a greater truth.

Reconciliation is only possible when both individuals involved are willing to admit error. In religious circles (and I use that word loosely) pride is the biggest obstacle often to overcome, and “spiritual pride” which is actually the “pride of the soul” is most difficult to deal with. These type individuals believes they are without error; and rather than seeking a greater truth to what they do not see or hear; this type of person will tend to grandstand in building themselves up, often upon the necks of other!
People are often attracted to such an individual simply because they are weak in the attributes of their own faith! I was once one of these, and I can tell you that it is a terrible thing to put so much stock in a man who is also very fickle! It is my opinion, such people are so wounded or hurt by others in their past, that they will not allow themselves the slightest chance of being seen in the wrong; rather they will lash out from in their own sanctimonious shells at others whom they have become annoyed with, in never coming to grips with their own shortfalls.
I know a man who has been in and out of prison, when things don’t work out for him like he had planned, he will lash out and blame those who had tried to come to his assistance! He cannot admit that his own lack of personal discipline and frivolous living has cost him his livelihood, nor even the roof over his own head! Both men, although seemingly at the opposite sides of the spectrum suffer from the same disorder, namely rejection coupled by pride. Both seek affirmation from others and will go to extreme lengths (in using others) to prop up their own wounded egos, and the truth be damned!
This is very sad, and even tragic as both men claim to be believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, yet without personal conviction by the prodding of the Holy Spirit; (known as grieving the Spirit) there is no hope of them ever seeing wear their primary problem originates. They are much more comfortable in going on the attack to dissect others, than to come to terms with their own fallibility, which requires humility rather than pride. I would not have written this piece this morning except that a “cult follower” of the first individual has once again attacked my spiritual walk with the Lord. Wear as the culprit who started such accusations; has rather decided to insulate himself from me, despite my pleading with him to be reasonable to iron out our differences as to be reconciled in our Lord like we should be.The poor brother even refuses to take the lead in any type of reconciliation with his followers, as he would rather pass judgment on the conflict. As he has convinced himself and others, ( being an intelligent man) that he “sins no more” in his walk with Christ, and that he (only) just has the occasional “glitch in the flesh”! He also has told others that I need to “come back” to the Lord. Additionally, his self fulfilling prophecy was confirmed and put fourth as me “being chastened of God” while suffering an infection to my hearts hardware, which the military had installed 13 years prior.
It has been over a year now since this event, yet the bitter decisiveness remains from a man who cut off our fellowship after 6 years of openness. Yes, he kept his connection with Skype to me open, but he refused to speak with me even in texts messages, and even told me to fellowship with someone who he believed was a only a “Bible based” individual – but did not know the Lord. He expressly said he was done with trying to teach me. I have written this ladder part of the sentence, as I understand he tells his followers that I chose to connect with him, (which I did) but the break off in communications was by him first, and not the other way around, “and then I became angry with him”! I think the really hard thing for me was that I had spoken to the brother from my hospital bed, in not knowing if I would even survive the surgery to my heart! I had entrusted this brother with all my deeply personal concerns in believing he was an “Elder in the Lord”. I really hate to interject this next point about the man I had entrusted and followed, yet it is pertinent in this type of personality flaw… This deeply wounded soul has discarded some time ago his own family and even son; as not being worthy of his time, primarily as they are seen as “but the wicked”. I had been willing to dismiss this bias, as I had not yet come to the painful point of also experiencing such a sanctimonious rejection.
In the end, the reason contrived for my dismissal from this group is that I would discuss world events (politics) too much, which was motivated by the gross wickedness of events in the world surrounding me. This was perceived as “worldly and canal” by the brother, and I was giving into a vice of the flesh, rather than trusting Christ. That part is partially true, yet “my politics” was particularly aggravating because of my support for Donald Trump, along with all Evangelicals who support him – to a couple of Europeans whom secretly despise the man!
To this day, I am painted as (only) functioning in the flesh… As to admit that I am still with the Lord in Spirit and in Truth, would be detrimental to my accusers, and would detract from the carnal and worldly prison which has been assigned to me. This character persecution was at first private, and then later leaking onto YouTube, and this web-page. I’m often drawling unfavorable reactions and caustic comments (which I normally don’t publish) which are never left by the man who started all this, but rather by his gullible sycophant followers!
Yet I too, would still be deceived, if it where not for the conviction of the Holy Spirit within me, who opened my eyes to just how deceived I had become; in following such a stringent example of Lordship Salvation doctrines! Brethren, these doctrines have an adverse affect upon a persons whole being, and even if you were to use the Bible to try and point out errors with these “spiritual perceptions”, you would be immediately accused of using “natural understanding” (which can not receive the things of God) rather then to be following the Holy Spirit – “whom only they seem to be able to follow”. Even when one speaks of Bible accreditation’s for holding sound doctrines in having a proper understanding of “moving in the Holy Spirit”; those words are but discarded as being “of the world” in understanding.
So without the conviction of the Holy Spirit himself of such “sin”, there is no hope of ever being reconciled together again in Christ. So, I can only conclude that such actions and reactions are of strong delusions of the flesh, or even the doctrines of demons. Brother and Sisters, we really need to pray for those who are caught up in such a trap; as they are powerless to see their own deceptions which are continually preached week after week; both to others believers and the natural man as well. These people think that they do God a favor with their deceived notion of preaching the truth in love, to an unwitting audience. This is strong delusion, so please pray, and I would be remiss if I don’t pray for them also, despite the personal pain which I was forced to endure.

From the widow’s mite to the washing of feet; Jesus always alluded to the paradox between the world and the kingdom of God in this manner. Christian, why do you look down upon your brother or sister as being beneath you?
Acts 10:34 34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: James 2:3 3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Romans 2:9-13 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:11 For there is no respect of persons with God. 12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
