Does war make you uncomfortable? Then grow up!
I learned how to combat demons in street ministry, not a cushy church!
Tonight, we finished up Matthew 8.
The silly Bible study handout (at the end) held the opinion that Demons don’t exist today, and the Disciples never cast them out.
Evidently, they overlooked Luke 10:17, Acts 16:16-17, and Mark 9:14-29, which require prayer and fasting that Jesus taught.
This type of thing really upsets me, in not being able to even address this type of spiritual warfare. Now, I don’t expect a babe in Christ to go into spiritual combat. Yet I do expect someone in leadership to at least have a clue about demons and combating demons. The mature Christian has the ability and authority to do so, after being properly trained.
People love to quote and make memes about “putting on the Whole Armour of God”, yet haven’t a clue what it is used for, if not for doing battle! This reminds me of “stolen valour” to use a military term!
This is one of the reasons the church is so weak: Unbelief, coupled with spiritual immaturity and fear in even having a Biblical discussion about such topics.
Put on your Armour, church and be ready to pray and learn, instead of having your ears tickled, just so people remain comfortable!
PS: Satan knows all too well who can fight on their knees, and who cannot!
