Hard times will come…

In Matthew 24:12, there’s a prophecy from Jesus speaking about the “last days,” which means that as lawlessness and sin increase, the love that believers have for God and one another will decrease. The “love” refers to agape love, which is a selfless, godly love, and it “will wax cold” due to the prevalence of wickedness, leading to spiritual and social decay. It’s a warning to Christians to remain steadfast in their faith and (agape) love, even when the world is filled with indifference and sin.
